Inspiration often strikes in the most unexpected places. Such was the case for New York City resident Eric Jess.
While on a trip to Milan, Jess stayed in an apartment and fell in love with their custom stainless steel shelving system. He began researching similar options for his own apartment when he came across Modern Shelving.
Jess worked with the Modern Shelving team to create his dream unit for his home. He worked with the design team to bring his custom shelves to life.
“The experience was smooth,” says Jess. “The [team] really made my vision come to life.”
When the shelves arrived, Jess hired an installer for a seamless installation process. Jess installed two sets of bookshelves in his living room and a built-out closet setup for his closet.
“My closet makes my life simple and functional every day,” says Jess. “And the bookshelves keep my collection of inspiration and reference books, which I use often with my work.”
Jess’s friends and family haven’t had the opportunity yet to travel out to New York for a visit and see his new setup. But Jess has sent photos, and his loved ones have loved everything he’s shared.
